The Lenovo technology plans to launch a new smartphone, will be touted as Lenovo Z6 Pro. The company has published a new teaser on Chinese social media. Lenovo’s CEO Chang Cheng has confirmed that the phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The teaser has also revealed its back design and camera. The new Lenovo smartphone is expected to be the successor to the Lenovo Z5 Pro which was launched last year November.
The company has not announced yet the exact date of Lenovo Z6 Pro. It is expected that the phone could be launched in the last week of April. There is no information about specs and pricing details for the upcoming phone. However, Lenovo had confirmed that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will have a new HyperVision camera and 5G support. The upcoming phone will have some distinctive features that will certainly attract smartphone lovers.
As per the rumor and leaks, the phone will feature a Super AMOLED display with full-view screen. Under the hood, it will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 885 SoC. The phone could offer an 8GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and much more. There will be an in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the handset.
It will be the successor to the Lenovo Z5 Pro that was launched last year with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with Adreno 616 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It provides a dual camera setup on the rear penal that includes a 16MP sensor with PDAF and a 24MP sensor with f/2.8 aperture. The device also comes with a dual camera sensor on the front side. It is powered by a 3350 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology.
